Shri Babaji, accompanied by a number of Malaysian devotees were in Bali from 24 to 28 Dec 2019. Shri Babaji was given a warm traditional welcome at the airport in Denpasar before He made His way by road to Singaraja, a port town in northern Bali, where the Balinese chapter of Shri Babaji’s Mission is located.
Upon Shri Babaji’s arrival in Singaraja, the devotees performed the Paatha Pooja. Amongst the programmes conducted in Singaraja were the Maha Agni Hotra at Gedung Sasana Budaya, a Meditation and Q & A session with about 200 high school students at the State Hindu Religious High School, a visit to the Bali SBSRBY Meditation Centre and water darshan.
The programme at the Bali SBSRBY Meditation Centre included a pooja for the Ganesha statue, which Shri Babaji had installed a few years back, two traditional Balinese welcome dances and meditation. A number of new devotees were initiated into meditation by Shri Babaji. Shri Babaji also spent some time talking to the devotees and inspiring them to continue their sadhana and meditation.
All programmes hosted by the Balinese were steeped in their tradition and cultural practices and every programme was calmly and meticulously carried out with much love and devotion for their Guru.
